Kate Sowinski is a Registered Social Service Worker who is passionate to work alongside the team at Centre for Trauma and Stress to support clients. Upon graduating from the Social Service Worker program at Lambton College she gained experience working in Bluewater Health’s Detox and Withdrawal Management team. Her background has been mainly working with adolescents and adults focusing on addiction, anxiety, and depression. She has had experience with Distress Line and Tel-Check through the Family Counseling Center where she furthered her knowledge working with vulnerable persons and families needing support and guidance.
She brings empathy and a non-judgmental listening approach to help foster a comfortable environment for all clients.
Kate is often the first person you speak to at our office as the is our intake administrator. She also provides neurofeedback sessions to clients.
